Since I've been here in NC and married, I haven't actually done that much work on makeup and stuff for myself - usually, Tonya is the one who does it for me.  Last night, I finally broke out into the toys myself, makeup, wigs, clothes, the works and did myself up while she and some friends were busy.

It was fun, messed the eyeliner up something fierce, but had some good practice and went out for dinner afterwards and passed easily :)

I figure that on my days off I'll be doing a lot more practice on that end - I love my wife and she likes working on me at times, but I really need to be more self sufficient there.

Eyeliner is definitely something that takes practice... of which I still need more :p.

Me too.  I can't for the life of me do a good job.  I used to put it under the lashes (like the bottom side of the lash line on the lashes) which works, but it also ends up on your bottom lid.  *sigh*  :)
If curiosity really killed the cat, I'd already be dead.

Practice makes perfect. I need work on my eyeliner, too.
