Hello  ;D,

Well I am going swimming next time this week first time since my chest surgery  ;D, however I am going to be wearing a rash guard as no to turn anyones stomach by the size of me.  :-X

However I am wondering about packing?? Doesn't cloreen water or sea water harm your packer? What do you guys do when you go swimming. Do you just not pack or where a condom full of gel???  ???

Awaiting for your reply.

Jay  :)

I pack.  I have a few extra 3.5" packers.  Thing is, they tend to 'float away' unless the mesh in your trunks are snug, so I've taken to wearing a swim jock under my trunks.  When I'm finally done I rinse the packer (not in the locker room!) and powder with cornstarch.

That's another option, but I feel totally naked when I don't pack.  The only time I haven't packed were the nights I was in the hospital post-hysto.  And then there was the incident with my stp during top surgery... LOL

Just don't pack. You may not have the usual bulge there, but nobody would ever dare ask.

Michelle.

Okay I'll back out of the M2F midset for this post.

Puts "boy think ball cap on."

Setting an American pool and or beach.

Cough, clear throat.

So i'm sitting by the pool and this dude walks by in a speedo. I think, dude I dont want to see that sh*t, the girl next to me mutters, "cover your junk pal."

Takes ball cap off, replaced by that cute wide brimmed sunhat with the, Michelle goes back on topic.

The one place in American culture where the "package" is to be unnoticed is the pool/beach.

Besides after "shrinkage" no one, even if they care, can tell what you got down there. I would suggest baggy "boardshorts."

Were looking more for a good tan and muscles. hehe.

I hope the above helps.

Personally, I'm uncomfortable in baggy "flappy" clothes.
I don't care whether other people are "comfortable" with whether or not they can see a human being with a bulge as that's a rediculous thing. Yes, there's a bulge. Yes, that means that's a penis. Half the population of earth have one and they shouldn't have to pretend they don't just so you can not see a bulge. I mean, come on! If you don't like it, then don't look at men's crotches is all.

I wish I could just go for a swim in a speedo, but as a pre op FTM, I don't exactly have much of an option.

And I LOVE to swim! I live across the street from the greatest pool in my region. It's georgeous and warm and open all year round and I do not feel comfortable with going there for a swim because I'd have to wear a woman's swimsuit and go through the girls' room.

I don't pack.  I'm more somewhere on the trans spectrum, not strictly male, but I do pass on occasion.

I'm actually running into an interesting/awkward situation this summer.  I'm working at a summer camp, and I'm working there as a female.  However, I plan to dress/present/act totally the same as I do now.  But swimming is presenting an issue.  I'm considering wearing my swim trunks and a rashguard with an old zipfront binder underneath (I figure the binder will get trashed over the course of the summer, but that's fine.  It's old, and I have others.

Does anybody have reason to suspect this won't work?  I'm unwilling to buy an expensive FTM swim suit, especially cos I think it's ugly.

dono, haven't swam yet while trying to pass.  just recently put in a bit of money for a swim top binder.  and have swim trunks.  I may wear something under the swim shorts to hold the packer to me and an extra layer over the swim top since am large enough looks kind of weird shapes with the binder on.
Every day we pass people, do we see them or the mask they wear?
If you live under a mask long enough, does it eventually break or wear down?  Does it become part you?  Maybe alone, they are truly themselves?  Or maybe they have forgotten or buried themselves so long, they forget they are not a mask?

I don't pack when swimming.  I always joke to my lady about someone pointing out that I am the 'c*ckless man,' and she laughs it off every time.

See, this is just one of the many reasons that I hope to never, ever, go swimming again.

But if you must, wearing trunks sounds like a good idea to me... and I doubt they would have to be uber baggy for no one to notice anything.

if anyone points out that you dont have a bulge, point out that they were checking your crotch out. ;)

No, don't say that!  Swimming is fun, great relaxation and good for your body!  I was one of those people who just didn't see it happening, and since I've had surgery I can't get enough.
