VM: Actually, my hats won't fit better, I bought them at sizes to accomodate for hair space, and I didn't like longggg hair. I'd look funny buzzed, my scalp's dead white, haha. Medium length is more fun.

Ignore Virginia.  Shaved heads are horrible on most people, and you are most likely no exception.  She even knows this, deep down inside.  This is why she has long curly hair (good choice, may I add; I went with that as well).
