Now I'm starting to know what it's like to actually "like" your body.  I am noticing some changes from HRT like softening of skin, fat redistribution, and a little hair reduction and of course the breasts :).  These changes are very welcome and now that I have a basis of comparison, what I thought was liking my body was mere tolerance.  I love the new changes and I'm starting to actually like my body rather than merely tolerating it as I have done for all these years.  It's such a wonderful feeling.

Melissa, that is great. I look in the mirror and think where is my iron. I do know what you mean. It's really nice to look at all the changes. I remember the first time after surgery I saw myself, besides all the swelling, I thought this was what I should have looked like a long time ago, you know ancient times.
