Hello all, I have been thinking about moving to Montreal in about a year's time. I need to get out of Edmonton and start over once I finish university next year. I heard Montreal is very GLBT friendly, and they do cover SRS there, which is also performed there.

However, I don't really have anyone there, and I need some resources to get me started. Also, my French skills are not the best, but I am taking courses starting in September, but I'm still worried about getting a job.
Any advice?

My plan's always been to just sell a bunch of my stuff, find a job through the internet, and live out of a hotel until I found an apartment.

It's a really nice city.
