Dear friends here at The Blend, I'm forwarding this letter to you, because Monica Cole of OneMillionMoms.com asked me to! So from the American Family Association's Miley Cyrus said what? Action Alert comes this important message:

    "Hannah Montana" star Miley Cyrus recently made statements supporting gay marriage.

    Her comments were in response to a question posed to Miss California Carrie Prejean in the April 19 Miss USA Pageant. Homosexual celeblogger Perez Hilton was the pageant judge who asked Prejean her opinion of same-sex marriage, to which she responded that marriage should be between a man and a woman. Outraged by her response, Hilton began blasting the beauty queen and asked for celebrities to share their thoughts on gay marriage.

Ya know... if this is Cyrus' actual opinion and not just some publicity stunt, I gotta say this is the first thing that makes me almost-kinda-not-quite-but-hey-why-not-sorta like her. But not for much else.

Whether you like Miley or don't. She is speaking up for human rights  If more people spoke up rather than milling about in circles complaining, we might get somewhere.
