Hi everyone,
I just wanted to make a brief post to introduce myself.  I've been going to Susan's chat room on-and-off for a few months, but haven't been active in the forums at all.  I'm a 26-year old TG woman who's just been coming to terms with my gender identity in the past six months or so.  Right now, the only person that knows about this in r/l (aside from my gender therapist) is my girlfriend, who is incredibly supportive.  Obviously, I'm excited by the prospect of finally being able to present myself to society as a woman, but I realize that's not in the immediate future for me.  Right now I'm just looking to make more friends as I sort through all the feelings and confusion that all of this brings.

Welcome to Susan's.  Stay awhile and relax, you're amongst friends here.  You are very lucky to have a girlfriend who supports you in this, many here do not have supportive friends or family, finding those who support us  is hard and once found should be cherrished.

Sounds like a good idea, think I'll have one of those right now. Do make yourself at home we are all friends here. Would love to here more about yourself and whatever else you might like to talk about. Just whatever you're comfortable with, don't feel like you have to pour everything out at once.

Hi Jane Welcome. I go to Chat room occasionally under Kendra name. The boards seem to be good for ongoing discussions with people not always on. Where as the chat is instant communication and feedback. I enjoy both from time to time. Welcome.
