I am a fan of the show HOUSE. For those of you who are, either love or hate Hugh Laurie's character. Anyway, in one of tonight's episodes I was blown away while you are  try guessing what it is that ails a patient. This 15 year old super model ends up in the hospital, passed out on the runway. So they run all these tests and troubleshoot until the end of time, and during an MRI, what one of the doctor's  believe to be undersized overies, turns out to be undescended testicals. I was like know way, an intersexed person. Turned out that as House said, she/he had cancer in the left one. So he goes and tell this supermodel shes a boy. Thats House for you. So she flips out and drops her robe and says I'm a girl!!! And her dad is there saying no way! It is true drama. Interesting.

Yes...very good show.  I like it because every episode has this really horrible case that has to be solved that sometimes turns out to be some rare thing, but sometimes it turns out to be something fairly common too.  It's just cool they way they break it all down and come to a conclusion.  Then there is alway a small secondary subject in each episode that is usually very hilarious.  I enjoy watching this with Marco!!!

Complete Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome.  That's what she had based on what you described.

I loved Hugh in Black Adder but in House he is absolutely brilliant.

Tino & I loved that episode!
Tino laughed  ;D  ;D  ;D more then I as he is a newbie to House's crazy antics and wild abusive banter to patients, families, colleges whomever/whatever he darn well feels like. I enjoy his charming sarcasm but I am rarely shocked any more.

Episode in question: House continually refers to this 15 year old super model as perfect, perfect lips, breasts etc natures finest estrogen queen blah blah blah. Discovering the model is intersexed House then said (in a way only House could  >:D ) "The perfect woman is actually man."

He also called dad a "homo" b/c he had sex with his kid. (I think you kinda had to be there for that one but... daddyo looked a little green around the gills apparently he ok as a pedophile but dad's a bit of a homophobic)!  :P

Actually, that's pretty funny, considering that I despise pedophiles, although many pedophiles tend to not care one way or the other.

I frickin' LOVE House! Good to know others appreciate it. The first time I saw it, I hated Hugh Laurie's character, but now I kind of like him... the whole cynical, dark humor is a lot like mine. I love the dynamic between Cameron and House (and the actress who plays Cameron isn't exactly bad looking). I remember seeing the supermodel episode a long while back, though not the particulars of it. My favorite episode to date was the 2nd season finale. I was totally transfixed the entire hour.

Rafe,

I was hooked from the first episoide. I don't watch all that much T.V. and don't get hooked on many shows. I missed the entire second season due to work. I was working a swing shift then. I guess I can buy the whole thing if I ever see it out in stores. I don't always remember to watch the reruns. But that is how I caught the supermodel episoide. Did anything ever happen physically between House and his ex in the second season? They just leave you hanging for that kind of stuff.

Not that I'm aware of. I don't think her character ever showed up again. There does, however, seem to be some chemistry between House and Cameron, and an article I read interviewing the actress said that's intended. I can't wait till season 3 starts.

I don't get hooked so easily on shows, either... only one I ever worshipped was Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and I'm still a loyal fan.
