I left from my home to Airport. I was dressed nicely and had some make-iup
My plane was suppose to leave around 2.00 PM. I passed as woman in the security check and bought some things from store. I showed my new passport with F before I arrived to the area where my first flight would leave.

Bad luck. The bus was taking passangers to plane. Soon I was at my seat next to window. Other bus of passangers arrived. One couple had them seats next to me. The flight went quickly and some not so good food was served.

Soon the plane arrived to London, Heatrow airport. It took a long time before the plane got permission to land and then there was a little bit waiting before they opened the gate.

I searched a sign about connected flights and followed the marks. Soon the bus took me to terminal 5 where my next plane was supposed to leave. I passed again in the security check. I searhed a place to rest and found one.

I had planned to do some shopping but the monitor said that I should go to the gate. I had to wait a quit while before the gate opened. Again  busses were taken passengers to airplane. I got seat from the middle of the middle three seats so I did not see out.  The big airplane left towards Canada.

This time the food was quiet good and they served juice many times during the flight. After meal I watched a movie from the screen that was in the back of seat front of me. Soon I became tired. For some reason the plane went far north and flew over Labrador and Northern Quebec before it arrived to Montreal. Some sandwiches were served. And later coffee. Then I got a paper to full for Canadian authorities. After about seven hour flight the plane arrived to Montreal.

Then I faced difficulties. There was a big line people to wait to border check.
I gave my passport and the paper from airplane to the desk. They asked why I had come to Canada. I said for medical treatment and soon had to show my letter from surgeon to customs. The customs worker got mad and showed me an other office to go. There they gave me a big red mark to one page of my passport and the surgeon's letter that they insested made them quit mad. Then they let me leave but they looked long after me mainly because of letter they letter and surgeon's signature. That about ''liberal'' Canada I understood that would never happened in the western Europe.

My baggage came quiet quickly after I had been released from the custom authorities. I tried to phone home using my cell phone without success.

Then I was taken to limousine and the journey towards the residence began. It was not long. My baggage was carried to a nice room for two people that had the very nasty view.  There was a present waiting for me from my friend.
Then a nurse gave me papers to fill and took my vitals. She also took my prescipted meds. I finally phoned home and went to sleep after 12 hours trip.

I slept and tried to do it until breakfast. I had lot of muscular tension aches after the long trip. Before my surgery I dressed and used make up when I went down to eat. The room had also a bathroom with a real bath but before my surgery the woman who lived in the same room after her SRS needed it more. Despite of that I took two baths before my surgery.

I went to breakfast. There were some other transsexuals and their close people. The breakfast had a lot of to offer but because of my European  taste I only took coffee, juice and toasted bread.

I had difficulties to understand the calling card system. With help of my friend I phoned home after breakfast. Then the surgeon came and talked with me a couple of minutes. After that we went to store and bought some calling cards.
They cost more than the price was in the tag. (In Europe all usually cost as much as the tag says, taxes included.)

Rest of the day I rest from the trip of the previous day and went to lunch and supper. I got bed early.

For some reason the plane went far north and flew over Labrador and Northern Quebec before it arrived to Montreal.

It's called the Polar Route, and it's because the earth is round.  So it's shorter to fly north then fly in a straight line.
FIGHT APATHY!, or don't...

Ships sail the same way on overseas voyages.

I hope you're feeling better and that most of your difficulties are now totally behind you, luv. Congratulations. :)

And ... welcome back to the Forum. :)

"I had lot of muscular tension aches after the long trip."

A very simple remedy to this if you didn't so thru out the flight. Take your shoes off. Drink plenty of fluids. Water and juices, Alcohol, coffee, soda and tea don't count. If you manage on the return flight, get up and walk around every few hours. At a minimum stretch in your seat as much as you can. When you land, if you can manage on this flight and for future long haul, walk for about 45 minutes. Finally aisles seats rock. And also if this is a British Airways flight or Virgin Atlantic flight and you can afford it, upgrade to the Economy Plus cabin.

Next day was like previous. After breakfast we tried to go walking to the park that was near but for me it was too cold. I had no warm clothes with me.
After lunch the weather was warmer and we made a little walk in nearby park and visited also to a small island that was located there. I took some pictures from the nature. After dinner I went to bath and then soon to bed.

Next day was still free time to wait the surgery. After lunch we went to planetarium that was located downtown with one couple with other lady waiting SRS. We first went by bus and then by metro. I saw downtown Montreal only in this time and quiet fast. I took some pictures from it.
Evening I had a bath and tried to be a little bit nervous because of my coming surgery.

The next day was a day before my surgery. Before luch we went to shopping mall and to the bank. My friend changed for me more Canadian money that I needed. After lunch I went to my room to wait. Now I was a little bit nervous.
I was given an enema. After supper I was transfered to hospital that located next to the residance. There was also other lady going to surgery. I had to fill some papers and soon I was given a sleeping pill. I would be second to be operated, the other lady was going to before me.
