LordKAT

I have been reading here a long time but could not get my email to allow me to register. I feel I know a few of you from reading your posts and hopefully you will get to know me as a valuable member.

Most of my typos are due to a sticky "L" key. Please or give my misspellings and I will tell you that I am an expert at reading typoese.

I live as FTM fulltime but have no surgeries or hormones due to a lack of ( I know, same for all) cash. *Sigh*

I hope to change that soon and hopefully my coworkers and clients will take things more serious when I start to look the part more but who knows. Friends and some family are pretty good at sabatoging my efforts.

My family and most friends if not all know of my transitioning state. My landlord is a creep about it tho. I work fulltime and have no local resources when it comes to therapists or surgeons. I plan to remedy that before the next 3 months are up. I have a grand daughter and 4 children. They have mostly accepted my decision to transition without much distress. Now for the rest of the world.

Welcome, LordKAT (as one Kat to another).

Don't we all hope we can wake up one morning as the right person?  It doesn't work that way, of course.  It sounds like you're doing what you can and will do more when you can do more.  Nothing wrong with that.

It is terrific your children are accepting (even if only mostly).  Often family is the toughest.  Some of my friends have worried about losing the friend they knew; perhaps the friends who try to sabatoge you are afraid of losing their female friend.  They'll either come around or won't.

Yes, now for the rest of the world!  Good luck on your journey.

Hi LordKAT, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 2230 strong.  That would be one heck of a family reunion.
Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers.  Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now.  And it is always nice to have another brother. :icon_hug:

And be sure to check out

Janet
