Hey guys.

I kind of like the idea of not resizing the actual nipple grafts, maybe just the aerolas. Medalie said he could do it if I wanted. My nipples are pretty small but they're still female looking nipples. Has anyone done this? I'm not too keen on the thought of my nipples being cut in half  and wondering if this would still look ok.
Would it look crazy or okay?

Not sure if I've seen it or not, but guys have all sorts of shapes of nipples. I have seen guys with Peri who haven't had re-sizing and they looked ok.

Mine were WAY too big for that to have been an option - but if yours would look right at the size they are then go for it if that's what you want. It's impossible for me to say whather it would look ok or not without having seen them - do you have a close friend or partner or ex who could give you their opinion?

I actually never realised they cut the ACTUAL nipple! o_o I thought it was always just the areola...

Yeah, most "female" nipples are larger than male ones, so the have to trim them down so they don't look huge for a man. The idea of it used to squick me a bit as well, but I knew it was necessary, and I wouldn't have wanted anything else. And since you're asleep when it's happening, you don't know what's going on anyway - it's not like it hurts!

Oh me too, but now that I think about it, male nipples are tiny.

And I wouldn't know, but it's not a choice for me, I have huuuuge nipples/areolas. Kindof gross actually, even for a female bod.

I've seen some where they have left the nipples the same. It can be pretty obvious but if that's what you wanna do then go for it.

It was obvious they were girl nipples?

Yup. They looked like they were lactating.

are there any pics of this out there? i'd like to get a general view.

I wanted my nipples making smaller but my surgeon said there was no need to make them smaller and if I wanted this I would have to have them reduced in a further op.

He only reduced the aerolas and left the nipples the same size.

With me getting the haematoma in the right side of my chest after the first op, this has made the right nipple shrink quite significantly. So I have 1 big nipple and 1 little one. I'm happy with the job overall though and have been told you can't really tell the size difference unless you get close up. Still considering whether to have the left one reduced so they match but not sure what is involved.

I know I saw some on transster but they aren't working much lately. You can tell the ones that aren't re sized because they are much larger. If mine weren't huge, even for a women, I would try and not re size them as they are one of the most sensitive parts of my body. But not an option they are HUGE!

Nero, are you having peri, not DI?  If so, I'm REALLY intrigued to know how your surgery goes because that's probably what I'm having done.

Also, I don't know know if anything needs to be done to the one of my nipples, so yeah.  I'm really keen to see your overall results.

Hi Kayden. Nope, DI. I was thinking I may want to keep my nipples as original as possible. But now I'm thinking it may look funny. Can't find any pics with guys who didn't have nipple resizing to compare. Transster is down. maybe peri pics have unresized nipples? Know of any?

Nero I will keep looking around on youtube and see what I can find and give you links. I know one guy at m y group did not have them re sized and they looked huge on his chest. He does not go out in public without his shirt on.  There is a yahoo group I just joined on FTM surgery definitely sign up for that as someone was just asking the same question.
