Well, I guess its pretty clear that I'm new here, right? So I'll introduce myself, here i go:

My name is danni, and I'm 21. I've been working up the courage to finally take the steps i need to take to get on the right path and after a good, oh say, 12 years, I think that I'm finally ready to start. I've been working since i was 16, and been on my own since i was 18, so suffice to say my lack of money is a bit of a problem, barely making enough money to pay for my rent, my car, required insurance, and the little bit of food i get every other day.

...I'm sorry, i went off on myself for a sec there, I'm new, and posting in the new persons thread, hello all, and i look forward to talking and making friends that have something in common.

Hi Danni and welcome to Susan's. The first steps are the hardest but the very first one should be finding a gender therapist, many go by a sliding scale, which means they charge based upon income. Susan's main page has a list of therapists, there may be one in your area.
