I did look at it but i didnt know to look for problems like this...I'm going to take photos of the problems and than let my landlord know my concerns. If he wont do anything i'll get in contact with the city. its just so diffrent for me. I'm not used to any of this stuff. :S

yeah, crappy landlords can unravel your look on things, because that hits you close, its where you live.  Your perspective changes when your home is messed with.

It sounds like our current apartment owner. Our stove and garage is falling apart and all he says is 'oh that's nothing. It just needs a little touch up work, is all. ' the bastard.

That's just the changes i'll make.

I'd check with a lawyer to make sure that conforms to legal standards and practices for where you are.  Some places that legal, others, it's not.

Thanks guys this is really going to help!!! I'm still taking photos. I'm also getting a quote from mould specialists because they say that they can directly charge the landlord for the fee's. and if he doesnt pay they help me go to the city for help. I dunno i'm still looking into it. Thanks so much guys!

I wish you the best of luck, there are some bad tenants out there, but there are good ones too.

My peeve is a landlord that charges you a metric ton of money for a pet, its rediculous, allow it or don't...ugh
