I never liked dolls but I was ALL about the My Little Ponies lol. Never really into unicorns unless they were the MLP variety.

Never liked unicorns or horses. Loved cars, computers and penguins - retained into adulthood.

Looks like cars may be more common than unicorns.... interesting :).

Nero

penguins are cool.  :)
Nero was the Forum Admin here at Susan's Place for several years up to the time of his death.

Nope, never cared for unicorns. The only thing I was really obsessed with was dinosaurs. I'd spend hours reading books about them and then would teach my mom all about different dinos
;D

I did My Little Pony when I was about 5 or 6, and unicorns...I had a poster of a unicorn family or whatever on my wall until one of my friends had a similar poster on hers surrounded by Barbie and Cabbage Patch dolls and I realised just how girly it was, and took mine down (it was getting tattered anyway, so I didn't mind. Think I would have been about 7 or 8 at the time). I think they're nice enough, but can't say I'm a devotee or anything. :P

I've always loved dinosaurs, I remember borrowing all the non-fiction dinosaur books in junior primary (about 5-8 years old), and when we had to look for spelling words my teacher got annoyed with me 'cause I chose archaeopteryx. ;D (Seriously, how cool are archaeopteryx?!!).

Vampires I've also always loved, hence my old avatar, "When other little girls wanted to be ballet dancers I kind of wanted to be a vampire". So true, so true...

And dragons, definitely. During my teenage years I had more dragon statues and paintings in my room than anything else. ::)

And cats, dogs, all forms of big cat, wolves, owls, snakes, horses, cuttlefish, lizards, eagles, lemurs... *Not* spiders, but most other arthropods... ;D

Unicorns were kinda nice, but I was more into dogs and cats and wolves.
I played a lot with legos and dominos. I built whole castles and the most intense dominos tracks.

Ahh, the weekends were I would get up early and build and build until my mum couldn't get into the kitchen anymore because all my dominos were blocking everything.

Always liked the building way more than letting them all fall down, though.

Romantic Vampires are current
but read the orinigal Bram Stocker. Dracula was far from romantic

No, I never had a thing for unicorns.

I really liked cars, though. Vampires and werewolves were interesting to me too. But mostly cars.

Lego and building blocks, YES!!! ;D

Romantic...maybe not in the lovey-dovey candle-lit dinner sense of the word, but certainly erotic. Read "Kiss Me with those Red Lips": Gender and Inversion in Bram Stoker's Dracula by Christopher Craft, Productive Fear: Labour, Sexuality and Mimicry in Bram Stoker's Dracula by Eric Kwan-Wai Yu, 'Borderlines' and 'Decadence, Homosexuality and Feminism.' Sexual Anarchy: Gender and Culture at the Fin de Siecle by Elaine Showalter and Repossessing the Body: Transgressive Desire in 'Carmilla' and 'Dracula' by Elizabeth Signorotti. I spent the best semester of my English major researching the sexuality and gender-bendingness of Dracula and The Picture of Dorian Gray. Great fun, and very interesting, though looking back now through my trans-tinted glasses I'm not surprised I did so well or enjoyed it so much. 8)

Vampires, werewolves, and zombies. The zombie apocalypse... My brother and I have this thing where we always plan our zombie apocalypse escape route, and critique buildings on their zombie apocalypse survivability. Being able to climb through ceiling vents, how big the windows are... you know, the usual...

Me too. Even before dinosaurs were as popular as they are now.

I grew up drawing dinosaurs and birds, from what I remember.  I always had an affinity for vampires (as seems to be a trend), and played with cars and little lego men with my brother when I was young.  Also had some of those trolls and ponies, but I liked them because the plastic they were made out of intrigued me... And nothing else.  :P

Cade

I did have some of the ponies, but my brother and I pretty much destroyed them by putting them into war with the GI Joes. Apparently, pretend wounds weren't enough, and we actually shot them with needles. I was such a destructive little kid...  :(

I can't say I was particularly drawn to unicorns, but I can see the Freudian connection.  :D

...I loved My Little Pony...I didn't care for my other dolls, but I did love Carebears and Popples...oh! And those mixed animals...I had a BumbleLion...I don't remember what those were called though...Remember the Snorks?  Basically, if it was a Saturday morning cartoon, I was all over it.

It's all about Weebles.  After all, "Weebles wobble but they don't fall down".

Which also works for a lot of the people I work with.
FIGHT APATHY!, or don't...

OK
Miss ignorant from Oz is back. What is a Popple. Do eat it, suck it ;) or have strange sex games with it

If so can I get one?

I had a My Little Pony collection...

I was also a weird child. I used to say I wanted to grow up and be a horse so I could "Sleep in a barn and pee in the grass." I wore a pony tail made out of yarn even when it wasn't halloween haha.

I think that a lot of transpeople feel connected to animals because animals don't judge gender or anything. They tend to be a lot sweeter than most people haha.

I think the trolls are cool! and Dragons.
