Hi everyone,

Just thought I'd pop a hello note up to introduce myself!  My name is Jim, genetic male and SO to a wonderful girl (MtF).  I'm here because it's nice to have the opportunity to participate in a community like this, especially one that seems broadly tolerant and friendly!

This is my first ever relationship with someone who's been through a transition. I was genuinely surprised at how little I knew about the issues, the challenges and the subtleties that she faced (and I guess the same applies to other folks who have, or are, going through a transition).

I want to be a good husband to her (we plan to marry hopefully within the next 12 months) and support her in every way...and although she's wonderfully patient and understanding, I hope to acquire more wisdom from this very community.  Maybe sometime in the future, I'll be able to contribute some too

My work schedule makes online participation sporadic but I'll do my best! In the meantime, my very best wishes to all!

Sure, I'll talk to her about it!   She's in Manila right now and we're doing a whole load of things at the same time - moving to a new temporary apartment, visas, surgery (it's not very romantic like a diamond ring but her breast augmentation surgery is my wedding present to her) so she's not online much at all these days.

I'm reasonably certain that I was born with those fluid hinges in my brain! Never could quite understand what was so etrange about having both males and females as attractors.
