To make things easier on the forum staff, I have turned off the pruning of nested quotes. As long as this does not become an issue I will leave it off. If it gets ugly I may reconsider

When quoting, I always always always snip the parts of the post that aren't relevant to my reply. I'm accustomed to board software that will cheerfully nest quotes indefinitely and it irritates me when people let them accumulate to ridiculous levels.

Same here.  I do the same thing with email.
