Since I accepted who I was on the inside and I accepted it. I noticed that things are changing. Of course the depression and thoughts of suicide are almost gone. So are my some of my nervous habits like biting my nails. Anyone experience a change in habbits?

Luv,

You know.. I didn't realize 'til I read this
*stares at his hand* I haven't bitten 'em since I came to terms with this.

I too used to chew my nails.

I have recently discovered that I get a lot of enjoyment from filing my nails.

Me too. I do it in idle moments at the computer, and I love watching them get an actual shape.

I'm doing better on a whole lot of personal care things: I don't let dishes pile up so much in the sink, or unwashed laundry in the hamper, I get the trash out more promptly, I check my socks and hems before going out. There's really something about not hating yourself. :)

I feel like I'm finally getting my life back. ;D

I have lots more energy now that it isn't all directed into the wall of my denial.  My house is almost clean now. ;D  Things keep getting better.

I feel like I have a little bit more energy too. And a little bit goes a long way when you've got my problems.

'Course I still feel stressed out and worried and am still working on the coming out and getting on hormones part...
A part of me wonders, if when I do get on hormones, when all my family knows (and my bosswoman), all this energy being used up on worry, on nerves and stuff, will I get that back? Will those steps allow me to have more energy to just live?

Stress can eat up a lot of your energy.

I would think that however you get your stress down your energy levels should rise.

So, yes, I think so Miniar.
