Well, you're certainly not into group-think as you're own signature states. The binary crusader, praise the Lord. ;D

hahahaha, i understand other men just fine.

Why?  Because she wants you to lie, of course!  Most women probably think they are 10x fatter than you think they are, so they don't need your objective opinion to enlighten them to the truth.  They probably just want reassurance, esp that you find them attractive.  and stuff.

About the understanding women stuff, I understand what men are like, being privy to their conversations when the women are gone (so they thought) etc. and I do have an understanding of what the experience is of being a man (well enough to know I can't make it work for me at least.)  I will never understand what the heck men think though.  I am even still blown away by the things they sometimes say after all these years.  This is, of course, me and my individual brain, but if anybody makes the assumption that I understand men just b/c I've attempted to live as one for so long, they would be horribly mistaken.  Don't get them at all..
Well said, I still get surprised regularly.

"I have always wanted to have a neighbor just like you,
I've always wanted to live in a neighborhood with you.

So let's make the most of this beautiful day,
Since we're together, we might as well say,
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?
Won't you be my neighbor?" - Fred Rogers

Well said Jen.

I agree 100% with what you wrote.

Some things that guys say are well, well...this a very friendly family based community so I wont repeat what I have heard.

Since the similar thread I started was going nowhere fast, I'll just join this one.  ;D

Transmen are more likely to remember your size, because it's not a totally alien system to him. (Depending, of course, on how old he was when he started buying from the men's department.)  Though I'll still say that Men's sizes make so much more sense.

Transguys can get it up and keep it up any time without Viagra.

You'll never hear a Transguy say, "Oh come on, honey.  You don't want to give me blue balls do you?"

Transguys will never be heard saying, "Oh, what's you're problem?  You on the rag or something?"

Someone asked what's in it for gay guys?  How about ...

If you go to a formal dance, transguys have already been taught how to follow.  (Though that's always been a huge problem for me.  I always want to lead.  :D)

As mentioned before - you can comfortably accommodate anything from a virgin to a size queen.

Transmen usually look young for their age - a plus in the very youth-centric gay community.

Reasons NOT to date a Trans man....

Because no man should be permitted to know as much about female anatomy as they do. They have an unfair advantage, knowing all the right buttons to push. And they enjoy doing it. Repeatedly.

Your only defence is to use your knowledge of male anatomy on them....

My partner's that way as well, Jamie. You and she can dance with me anytime! I'd rather be lead! :)

I've always been attracted to males, and now I find that I'm slightly more attracted to transguys than others (well at least if I know they are, which is pretty much impossible unless they tell you ).  Maybe it's partly because I feel a bioguy would be subconsciously judging me and using me only till he found a biofemale as a replacement, while a transguy would have a shared experience of transitioning who could understand and not judge my past, nor me his past.

If a fairy came to me one time to make me straight,my first desire would be to have a husband who was trans. Not only for the reasons which are said before. Just for this:

They can fixed a car and a cat!

Things like this are posted often all over the site.

Not all FTMs are interested in dating MTFs, FYI.

Good for Germany.

Some people seek out others who have some basis in understanding them.  Nothing odd in that.  Others date out of status, "Oh look at what I can get."  Others out of desperation "This is all I can get."

I still want to know who's picking up the tab, as I'm not a cheep date.

Well even if it is, 'a lot of' isn't the same as 'all.'  Although I don't think that's what either Inanna or you implied.

Isn't it the same in the US?

I know a couple MTF-FTM couples...   3, to be exact.  counting the 2 on here.  they're all in the us.

I wasn't aware I said that.

I understand plenty of guys, trans or otherwise, wouldn't like to date a MtF.  I just said that it would be nice to date someone who understood the trials of transitioning, albeit from the opposite direction.

Sorry if I offended/disgusted you.

Oh don't worry honey, you'll find that offending/disgusting Mister is about as easy as falling off a log.  At least you didn't use one of the 20,000 words that seem to be on his verboten list.

Ha. It's actually quite difficult.  Shall I explain myself to you again, Tekla?

Not offended or disgusted.  I understand what you're saying re: transition experience.  But like I said, it's so prevalent on this site that the ladies are commenting that they'd like to be in a relationship with the guys but rarely do i see the guys saying they'd want to date the women.  Hrmmmm...
