I'm not really sure as to the cause of that disparity.  Maybe it just boils down to the natural way men and women work based upon countless iterations of biology: women want one man to satisfy their one need, men want every woman to satisfy their one need.

I'm probably wrong, as I often am, but it sounds reasonable.  MtF's would want to date a FtM because he understands what she went through and can empathize and all that jazz.  But a FtM wouldn't necessarily want a MtF because there are so many other options available because that's just how guys think.  Heck, there is one question that every man asks himself, whether he realizes it or not, when he see's a member of the sex he's attracted to: would I tap that or wouldn't I?

Women are like old carbureted cars in that you have to do a little fiddling with the choke and get a rich gas to air mixture but not too much or you'll flood the engine it turns on and once you do turn it on you have to make sure you don't let the revs drop too low or you'll stall.
Men are like fuel injected engines with an automatic transmission: just turn the key and you're good to go.

Alas I digress.  Back to why one should date a transguy.
I guess they have a mechanical advantage in that you don't have to worry about an early finish (though they still might go out for pizza afterward and never call you)

Everything's changing so fast right now, dude..  it'll level off, you'll be able to predict your body more, change the angle up to prevent being a two pump chump.

Well what else would you do it with?

I was thinking of putting together a list (humorous) as an icebreaker as I navigate the dating world.  Feel free to add to the list!

--leaves the toilet seat down
--will never need Viagra
--no worries about getting pregnant
--size is never an issue; if you don't like it you can choose a new one!

What else?

Jay

I was trying to go with the humorous aspect of this based on the last point made here but it seems to be escalating into something else.

Your post seemed to elude to the 'mechanical advantage' and absolute use of sex toys.

Reasons NOT to date a Trans man....

Because no man should be permitted to know as much about female anatomy as they do. They have an unfair advantage, knowing all the right buttons to push. And they enjoy doing it. Repeatedly.

Very True. ;)

Your only defence is to use your knowledge of male anatomy on them....

Now that is a whole different kettle of fish!

Ah, I didn't mean it in terms of sex toys.  Mechanical advantage just comes from me playing DnD and building characters in terms of game mechanics to gain a "mechanical advantage" rather than just making their personality interesting.  I used mechanical (probably should have said physical) rather than psychological advantage with regard to what you can do physically rather than saying "Well y'all understand the way a woman's mind works" which would imply something worse entirely.

A lot of the time insult stems from a lack of clear communication.  I hope this clarifies everything.

Transguys know more than "normal" guys, what is good for womens bodies. And they are more understandable about the "curse" women have, than "normal" men. This is one reason why I would prefer a Transguy if I was not a wonderful dyke.

Not offended or disgusted.  I understand what you're saying re: transition experience.  But like I said, it's so prevalent on this site that the ladies are commenting that they'd like to be in a relationship with the guys

Well the topic was about reasons to date a transguy.  I could've mentioned I'm currently in a relationship with a (cis)girl or that I'm bi, but that'd be off-topic.

Quotebut rarely do i see the guys saying they'd want to date the women.  Hrmmmm...

I don't know if you should interpret being open to the idea the same as actively wanting to be in a relationship.  If I was single and looking to be in a relationship with a guy right now, him being trans would naturally seem like a small plus, just like being with a transgirl would be for the same reason.  Though not more important than their personality or anything...

I was doing nothing but providing commentary on the trends I see both on this board and formerly IRL before I severed my involvement with the trans community.

They didn't do anything.  I went stealth.  If you want rid of me, put me on ignore.

Hmm, I guess I'm still relatively new to the trans community then, because I haven't seen too much of that.  I'd have thought it the other way (since after srs mtfs can have normal.. you know... with cisguys).  Sorry then to have contributed to the stereotype.  :-\

My personal opinions don't qualify as stereotypes.

but FYI--- I have plenty of normal.. you know... with my cisgendered lady.  that's a stereotype i'd like to see fall by the wayside.

So, back to the original topic ... Ahem!

Another infamous thread that is currently going on these boards gave me another idea for the list:

Nobody's likely to gag when giving an FtM a BJ.  >:-)
