First off let me introduce myself!

My name is Mia, im 18 yrs of age and i am looking for others around this spot! 

Anyone else from here? i was hoping to maybe meet up as a group and go to any local support group. Im trying to build support and i thought this was the best way of doing it!

Great idea, but I'm a few miles too far north, but if you type transgender+ventura+support+california into google, you will find someone trying to get such a group together, lacking that try the Ventura Country Rainbow Alliance.

I am north of you,Oregon, and can not help.  But if you Google you should find some group.

I am only about 40 miles SE of you, (and considerably older), but if you can cruise down into the NoHo area there is a boutique on Ventura Blvd http://countessascloset.com/ where you can meet other TG's from the So Cal area.  The owner (Countessa)  is a real kick and wants her "girls" to be "ladies" who are readily accepted in public as such.  Some of the girls belong to a variety of groups, and some are just friendly and supportive without necessarily being group members. The girls that go in there are all over the age board (and several are in your general age range) and all over the TG spectrum.  Sex, aside from some very occasional "naughty" jokes, is not a topic allowed there but all aspects of gender, transition etc and just plain good girl fun are welcome.   

Is Countessas closed?? I don't see there web page anymore.

There's a place in ventura that hosts meetings and stuff.

It's called the VCRA (Centura country rainbow association I think?)

I've been to one with another member of this forum, and it was all right.  I don't really do support meeting that often if at all but decided to give it a try.  They have meeting I think once a week.
