I am glad I found this forum, really needing like folks to chat with about being transexual, and just maybe my experiances along the way might help someone else

I just bought a new denim mid length skirt yesterday and wore it to the mall. It was great and I felt like so good.

I have too say, wearing a short skirt. and feeling the wind caress my legs (and getting the odd complement!) just makes me feel so alive.

My biggest challenge is that I am a closetted crossdresser, so shaving my legs poses a bit of a challenge. Thank goodness for tights!

Why not save your legs.
Lots of men do; runners, bikers, swimers, sunbathers, and more.
Just my thoughts on removing hair from your body.

Oh and I so love to feel the wind caress my legs and the freedom of not having material wrapped around my legs. It's just great.

Welcome to Susan's!  I am sure you will meet many new friends here.  Be sure to check out the Reference Library and the WIKI.  I also love wearing short skirts.  I do shave my legs every other day.  I do love how a gentle breeze feels on my legs.  It's like heaven!     Again Welcome Cindy. 

Jenn, I have worn shorts out many times while in boy mode and no one has ever commented that my legs are shaved.  Most people I see in public places probably think I am either a cyclist, runner or a swimmer.  As a suggestion you might want to give it a try sometime and see if you like it or not.

And the shaveing of legs..... another type of guy that does that <If there sanitary> are HVAC techs and others who do "dirty" work.... No hair prevents the majority of dirt, dust, alcily<sp?> powder, algy.... and the list goes on and on from accumulateing as bad and keeps you from smelling like a horse when your days over....  Just a thought.  *shrugs*

No comment on the "finding a reason" part of shaving legs things, as I'm living fulltime as female and just shave my legs whenever I wear a skirt or shorts, but if you do decide to shave them, you are in for a treat for the first few days.  Your legs will be ultrasensitive and everything touching them will feel great.  Since mine are shaved all the time, I don't get to experience that anymore, since my have become accustomed to being bare.

I wear skirts most of the time for work (that is what the lawyer prefers that all women in his office wear). 

90% (or more) of my body hair is now gone, I just used hormones and a Braun Silk Epil to remove the hair.  Now very little grows back and I either wax once every two weeks or use the Silk Epil every two weeks.

Thank you all for the warm welcome  Hopefully I will be able to expess myself while I begin my transition, my biggest issue from just tossing it to the wind and going for it is my family, they have no clue and I feel bad about that but that is the way of things for now.

I am trully pleased with some of the effects of the mild HRT I am on, non functioning penis and my budding breast, I knew I was going to like becoming a woman. My sex life has been at a stand still sence my wifes hystrectomy several years ago so sex is not a huge thing, but on the rare occasion and with much directed stimmulation I can function some what in the male role but it just makes me sick. Having had sex with a man on one occasion, I discovered that was much more enjoyable for me. Well TTFN

Short, longer, they're so versatile and distinctly feminine...
