I'm super stoked! My dad came over on Monday and we had a long conversation about me transitioning and everything.  At first he was kind of unsure how he felt about it but by the end of our talk he was completely cool.  He called me Parker and his son for the first time.  It was one of the best feelings in the world.  He also told me we need to get this taken care of and he will pay for my therapist.  I should have my first session in about 3 weeks, when this quarter of school is over. I can't wait, just wanted to share the good news!

Oh wow you are cute. Did I say that out loud? I love when parents stand behind their kids like they should. I would never risk the love of my son because of something he is. Congratulations.

Thanks for all the positive comments...you guys made me blush a little bit lol

For my sideburns I used my own hair.  When i got my hair cut I saved it and cut it up really small. Then I went to a costume store and got spirt gum and used that to put them on.  They look real, even in person.

And very creative with the sideburns.

Yea it was amazing, I wasn't really surprised that he was that supportive. I couldn't have asked for a better dad. My first therapst apt should be in about 2 weeks. I cant wait!

It took me forever to figure out what a "convo" is.  I've been reading too many works of literature, not enough internet forums.  Dang.

That's awesome! You're really lucky. Best of wishes for your transition.
