My endo told me not to do this, so I'm not. Not sure why she said no. But I was wondering if any of you have and what the effects are.
Dividing the dose and doing half one week and half the next week, instead of going a full two weeks between injections. I heard it helps keep the levels more stablilized.

Interesting my doc has me do it weekly and I just talked to a friend who is a doc yesterday and she said weekly would be  (her opinion) more stable vs. bi weekly. But I guess every doc/endo has thier reasons for wanting it done thier way. I can't imagine going every other week.

I can ask my friend(s)  the next time I see them but they could not think of any reason why you would do it once every two weeks. Thought that every week was the norm in their opinion(s). They are not Endos so yours may be a better source, they are GP's.

I'm on what is considered a "full" dose of T, but I take it divided into weekly doses.  My doctor recommended weekly doses; hormone stability purposes.  Apparently T only lasts 8-10 days in the body anyways, so a shot every 14 days seems like it would be pushing it.  I'd imagine a lack of T (or just hormone fluctuation) at the end of your shot cycle is what is causing your lethargy.  No clue why your endo would be so set on doing bi-weekly shots, but it seems like every doctor has their own method for doing things...

Well I only get my dose every 3 weeks but haven't noticed any sort of mood changes near the time of shot, nor after. *shrug* I guess it depends on the individual and how sensitive they are to hormone changes?

Also perhaps the type of T...  I have heard that other parts of the world (you are in New Zealand, correct?) have T that differs from what is available in the U.S.  I wonder if that T remains in the body for a longer period of time than the testosterone cypionate/ethanate available in the U.S. (different chemical composition?).  I dunno, just speculating; can anyone clear this up?

I divide weekly as well, find it keeps me more even.

I do my shots once a week. The half-life of testosterone, at least cypionate, is 7 days, which means that it starts to weaken in your system after that time. I can't imagine why you'd have to do a shot only once every 2 weeks... unless it's a matter of actually doing the shot, but if you're self-administering, I doubt it'd be any problem.

I'm on the full dose to. used 2 do it every 2wks in d.c. but my new doc divided it to every 10days. his idea not mine. I gotta do what he says right? 

My doctor asked me if I had any preferences regarding dosage/frequency.  I told him that I wanted to stay off the hormonal roller coaster as much as possible, so he recommended weekly injections.  From what you've said before, it sounds as if I am taking the same dose as you, but half weekly.

This is exactly why i went to once a week... it was driving me insane.  You are really early though, maybe your endo wants to see how your levels change before she puts you down to once a week?

I was at every 10 days for three months, then went to every other week for three months.  Then i switched to once a week.

I have absolutely no problems at all with shots every two weeks that's how I take mine but if I leave it any longer I feel like crap.

I do that every shot.  I haven't died yet.

I answered the original question, which was 'can you split a biweekly shot into two weekly?'

ahh i see cheers...

whilst I was on injections for the very short time. I was told to inject every two weeks. So it would keep my T levels at a normal rate. However when I started doing it once a week, I then started getting crazy and thats when I was taken off it. I don't think my system liked the injection. That was when I was moved to gel.

Personally I would do what your doctor recommeneds.
