Most are in various stages of transgendering, from just beginning to fully completed. Some folks are significant others (supportive friends and family members). There is a wide scope of folks here  :)

Hi Amber, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 2500 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another sister. :icon_hug:

And be sure to check out

I have changed you age, because we protect our younger family members.

Hi Amber,
Don't worry about being confused, a lot of us are or were or something. As Virginia said there are alot of people here from all levels of transition, and from all around the world. Guess what? YOU are no longer alone, 'cos we support each other.

BTW you cannot post an avatar until 15 posts. It's mentioned in the rules that Janet forwarded.

Have a good sleep and in the morning you will get some suprise responses

Hi Amber.

Just relax and read what others have posted.  Jump in when you're ready.

There are a lot of us here in various stages and with various needs and problems and desires.  Roam around a little until you find the area that suits you.

Welcome. :D

Hey Amber!

As the others here have already said, welcome!  You are among friends now.

Confusion is a normal thing about this condition.  Information can be hard to come by.  Support is virtually non-existent depending on where you live.

Susan's place is more than just a forum, though there is quite a bit of activity as you may know.  But also our wiki is large, detailed and we strive to keep it current.  If you are having questions of whatever nature, the wiki may have an insight to what you are seeking.

Also the family here on the forums are a diverse lot (that's fer sure!), and have an opinion or advice on just about any subject you can mention.

So if you have a question, just put it out there and ask it.  You probably have several questions.  Don't be embarrassed, nothing embarrasses us, hon.  So what I think I was getting to was this.

Just ask all your questions instead of having us pull them out of you.  It'll go much faster that way.

Also check out the forums.  Very likely your question(s) may have already been asked.

Take care, and hope to talk to you soon!

-Sandy

Hi Amber and welcome!   :icon_wave:

Seconding what Sandy said.  Best to get your questions out rather than have us drag them out of you one by one.

There's lots of info around and if you can't find what you're looking for, people are all pretty friendly and willing to help.  You're definitely in the right place.

Welcome!  Asking questions is the best way to find answers, so ask away!  Just talking to people on here will help you figure out where you stand.  Good luck to you!  :icon_bumdance-nerd:
