I'm not really trying. I'm just curious to know what other TSs see. I'm pre everything. I think my facial structure is a little masculine...neutral at least. +shrug+ all I know is that when I look in the mirror, I see a dude...with boobs ._.

this one is my favourite. totally captures my essence. oh yeah, I wear makeup and crossdress...probably doesn't help.

me with my darling cat, Lord Alfred Douglas (aka Bosie) LOL SRYSRY I had to post Ilovehimsomuch,ok ;_; <3

at barnes and noble

then I looked through the pics and saw how bad my boobs were showing so I put on my jacket ._. (even though it was like 90 degrees outside)

LOL now that's smoking. (ok I was just lighting it for the camera operator)

HAHA, I love this one. I have no idea why I'm making that face. but I think I look pretty masculine in this one for some reason. if you look at my neck...I don't know, someone told me I have a more pronounced "adam's apple" than most women, but maybe he was just trying to be nice. do I really? ._.

pff idk. just curious. (sorry the pics are kinda fuzzy, I had to resize cos they were like omfg huge) maybe I'd look more male if it weren't for my LUSCIOUSJOLIELIPS? :|

Get rid of the mascara and nail polish, at least until you pass pretty well.  It'll do nothing but feminize and that's not something you want 'til you're masculine enough to balance it out.

Also, your piercing draws attention to your very feminine lips.

And, looks like you already know this, you need a better binder.

TamTam

You do have a pretty masculine facial structure, actually.

I think your face looks pretty androgynous. Oh and your cat has the same mean evil eyes as you XD

Uhhhh, actually I had to double check... to see to which side you were transitioning because you do look in the middle. A bit of things and thats all thats needed.

Hmm...  If I was just a passer-by looking at you and was forced to guess, I would probably do a double-take and settle on 'female' due to the chest.  The clothes and makeup probably don't help, though I know there are dudes who dress that way as well.  Depending on their body structure, I sometimes will mistake those dudes for female until I hear them talk or watch their mannerisms/movements for a while (which I try not to do... not nice to stare and all that, though I've definitely garnered my share of stares as well  ::)).

Another clue is the face; the older guys (teenagers, 20-somethings) tend to have more angular, less soft faces.  The younger males (pre or early puberty) have faces more like yours.  You don't have an extremely feminine face.  It could honestly go either way--early teenaged male or late teen/early twenties female.  The only thing that makes it swing more towards the female side of things for me is the hair--not necessarily that it's long, 'cuz I definitely see guys with similar hair, but those two long pieces by the ears... there's just something about how they frame the face that seems feminine.  They also are covering up what looks to be a nicely squared-off, masculine jawbone.

I think you look most male in the second pic; the lighting makes your face seem just a bit more angular, the nose more pronounced.  Oh yeah, and nice thick eyebrows and your eyes have attitude (it works for ya).

Nathan.

you look very androgynous, to be honest if I passed you by in the street I would first think you were an emo dude. You do need a binder though.

The last pic reminds me a little of a peroxide version of Adam Lambert (American Idol) :)

General question...

Is it just coincidence that I've seen a few FtM guys with a similar style or is there a FtM tendency for grungy looks and piercings?  Honestly, I don't know...it's just something I've picked up on recently, now that I've seen a few pics of you fellas.  As I say, it could just be coincidence.

I hope it's just a coincidence, because "over-compensating" with a grungy male stereotype isn't something I recommend, because unless you have obviously masculine features, you risk falling slap bang into what we cisgendered men think of as the butch-lesbian-bus-driver stereotype instead.

Less is more - less cosmetics, less ornamentation.  Dennis' avatar from his fishing trip is a good example of a nice, masculine "regular Joe" look.

It's not typical FTM, it's typical young person.

My opinion: I actually think that if you're going to go full-out with the punk look, the eyeliner doesn't hurt you (although even in an 110% punk, mascara is just a little too far for most males). You do have a somewhat masculine jawline, although overall your features are feminine (mostly due to the fact that you, like most all bio-females, have a vertically-short, horizontally-broad head, whereas in most bio-males, it's vertically-long and horizontally-narrow). I would say that from these photos, you do pass. As a young teenager. As I do not think you're actually much older than a young teenager, this is not terrible. If you're 27, then things may be otherwise.

HOWEVER, whether you pass in photos or not does not matter one wink in the real world because in the real world, you have to talk. It doesn't matter how masculine a guy looks if when he opens his mouth, a female voice comes out; voice trumps nearly everything except breasts in whether an FTM passes or not. I would say that you probably do not pass because you probably have a female voice (since you're pre-T).

I think I would have my doubts about which gender you were if I passed you in the street, even with the makeup. Your mannerisms and voice would be the deciding factor.

I love guys in eyeliner but my eyes are freakin huge and if I wear eyeliner my face just screams femininity xD you pull it off much better than I do

Quite honestly, no. Eyebrows done, nail polish, makeup, sunglasses, hair dyed, boobs of course. You're coming off as a scene girl. A veryvery cute one, nonetheless. However, not to say that it's impossible, I think that you could definitely go androgynous if you did some more realistic hair colouring, dropped the brow tweezing and nail polish and makeup, toned down the wardrobe a little and started binding.

Forehead for both male and female is one nose length. It would depend on the length of your nose and there are too many variety of sizes. Men don't have longer foreheads, one just might have a bigger head or longer nose.

You remind me a lot of Noel Fielding. If you're in US you wont know this guy, he's a brit. Just the way you put yourself. The guy's one of my idol's btw. He's in a brilliant UK low-budget comedy called Mighty Boosh.

Oh, The Mighty Boosh is over here too on [adult swim] on Cartoon Network. I've never seen it though.

It's part of the late night programming called [adult swim]. They show more teenage and adult-friendly shows, including anime. They started showing live action shows, too, which I don't agree with. I'm a purist with that... only cartoons should be on Cartoon Network. Now they're having live-action shows all the time. At this rate they'll turn into MTV- a music station that almost never plays music. ::)

I agree with others who said: You look very androgynous.
If I saw you on the street I would have my doubts...

On first and second pic:
You look like a punk-emo-rock dude...

But third and fifth pics... I would say "A girl", without any doubt... Sorry! But the way you hold your cigar and lighter... Only girls holds them like that. Focus on that.

Also, binder... And piercings... I agree with everything Mister said.

My English is not very good. So, don't pay any attention to mistakes...  ;)

i'm guna go ahead and defy what the rest have said... just to be awkward  :P I like the piercings and to me, they dont make your face any more feminine. They give you character. I think you just need a binder. You look like you pass way better than i do.
