ET headed to Spago restaurant in Beverly Hills Wednesday night to celebrate Larry King's new book "My Remarkable Journey." The famed talk-show-host revealed his inspiration for the book, shared some of his personal stories, and weighed in on the news of Chaz Bono's transition from female to male.

He said:

King tells ET that he has interviewed many transgendered individuals in the past and he expressed his support for Alexis Arquette and Chaz Bono.

"I wouldn't know what it would be like to be born with the wrong body -- that's tragic," King says about Arquette. "I wish her nothing but the best. I spoke to her [Bono] the other day. Told her how much I care for her, I like her a lot. Wish her nothing but the best."

Nice of King to be supportive however he didn't refer to Chaz using correct pronouns!
