I just picked up a couple of great Trans T-shirts.  Behold:

Now I just need to decide which one I'm wearing to Pride next month.  ;D

I also want to get this one, but won't have the funds for a little while.

I really like the design of that first shirt. I'm not one to display my 'transness' but it's definitely a cool design that I'd wear.
Don't be scared to fly alone, find a path that is your own
Love will open every door it's in your hands, the world is yours
Don't hold back and always know, all the answers will unfold
What are you waiting for, spread your wings and soar

If available here, I will get one (the first design).

Well I think that most people would think that the first one was a Prince shirt, the second is kinda cheesey and I'm not way into copywright violations, and the third just screams "I don't have a gun" - because if you do, you like to let it be a surprise 'ya know.

Cheers

None of them would help me renew my work contract for another year so I'll pass.

Nicky

nobody is saying you need to wear them at work  ::)

I'm not a fan of the gun one because I just dislike the idea of having a message on me that says "Willing to do violence", even though that might be true. Just seems antagonistic.

I made myself a T-shirt that has a big danger sign :

DANGER
Transgender
Person

I got them online at a place called Zazzle.  You can create your own designs, or buy stuff with other people's designs on them.

The first one - Meh, I can think of worse things for people to think.  And the people who matter will get it.

The second one - Of course it's cheesy.  That's why I like it.  That and because the Trans Am was my dream car when I was about 10 years old.  I guess that's why I'm a geek, and you're one of the cool kids.  ;D  I take your point on copyright violations, and if I thought there would be a chance in hell that the original artist who created the design would get a dime of it, I'd happily pay the licensing fee.  However, since it's more likely said fee would end up in the pocket of some CEO who is making millions in bonuses for running the company into the ground, I don't feel too guilty about it.

The third - No doubt in gun-phobic California that would be true.  Out here in redneck country, it might still be true, but I wouldn't bet my life on it.  ;)  You're all probably right though.  It would probably invite more trouble than it's worth.  Still, I like the sentiment.   :icon_2gun:

i want the second one. on silver colored shirt.

*checking bank account*....  :)

I like the idea behind the third shirt, as someone who is legally armed its always nice to have extra protection, but not always the best idea to advertise it.

I see the third shirt as more being for a gay man than anyone else. Just because you're gay doesn't mean you can't be macho, or one of those guys who doesn't mind finding a fight.

Perfect for a gay cowboy?

I would wear this one, VERY cool design.

I like the sentiment on this one also but unless I
grew my Van Dyke back and was further attired in
a neon pink tu-tu, angel wings and chukka boots
(Bay Area Business Casual)
I don't see much use in advertising my uniqueness.

...and uhm, a revolver? PALEES!

Revolvers never jam, are easy to clean, and make a good starter gun for people who are not so mechanically inclined. Sometimes simple technologies are the best.

I mean, are you going to tell Dirty Harry to get rid of his revolver?  Didn't think so.

Shootest what thou whilst...

I prefer a "Sig" 9mm or Desert Eagle 50 cal.

The best gun is the one you can have the most control over.

But that stuff, hey is your Desert Eagle the "Timothy McVeigh Signature" model from the Ruby Ridge Collection?

Being a "Skin Head" trapped in a "->-bleeped-<-" body,
I of course have both but my
"Rommel Collector's Edition" is my favorite.

Oh, the Rommel model?  Don't you want one from someone who won?

Always thought that Rommel was the most useless praised general since Lee.  I think it was because he was involved in the (again, unsuccessful) plot against Hitler that people feel required to rank him as some sort of great general, when in fact, it not exactly what the record would bear out.  Most of his victories were against substandard armies.  And the rest is full of fail.  He could not take Egypt, which was the reason for the entire North Africa Campaign in the first place.  Hell the Aussies - who really are tough - held out against him in Torbruk for almost a full year.  I think what success he did have in North Africa was the result of getting to fight against Monty who was always busy defeating himself.  Once a real general got in there, you know, when Patton showed up, with green troops with little to no battle experience, he kicked his ass.

And the 'brilliant strategy' deal, really.  His last command had him heavily fortifying the French coast to guard against an invasion, when his early victories in war ought to have taught him in very simple terms the value of the Maginot Line was pretty much an illusion, and it's simple to overcome, as Ike did, following the German example and just dropping troops in behind it.  He wasn't half the general that Kesselring was.

However, he was by all accounts very much a gentleman, the soldiers under him never accused of war crimes (all but impossible for most German units), he conducted war under the old rules, and is to be commended for that much at least.

Oh, the guy who opened many a can of whoop-ass on Rommel, that Patton dude?  He carried a Colt .45 or a Smith & Wesson .357 Magnum depending on his mood.  Both revolvers by the way.

I actually have a Phoenix Arms .22. made it Ontario Ca. I love it. I've fire
thousands of rounds through it and have never had a problem with it.

Now a .22, that's a real Guido Gun, the professional hitmans number one choice.  You just walk up behind Vinnie No Nose, and tap a few rounds into the head, drop the gun, walk away.
