Yesterday I had to deliver a lecture in a university here (department of math). I wore men's clothes, and it was really awkard. My upper body looked too small and lean compared with my lower body, as I wore bulky pants for men. While I saw pretty college girls in the campus, it was not interesting at all. No girl stared or turned her head to me. I was disappointed. Next time, I will wear rather striking women's clothes, but still a little bit formal for a lecturer.
Today my female colleague commented that I look better when wearing tight clothes and recommended me not to wear men's clothes any more. She seemed to now realize that my body shape is not for men's clothes.
Finewine, thanks for comment. That miniskirt was from Salvation Army's thrift store or something. I seldom wear it, because my son does not like my wearing it. About 3 yrs ago, he commented that the skirt is too short. After hearing that, I don't wear it with my family. Even I do not wear any skirt when I am with my family.
