Yes, liberals and conservatives not left and right as it really is.
Just think about U.S. presidential elections in 1972. In case you think that McGovern is better vote left, Is Nixon is better vote right.

I'd be an anarchistic communist if I believed it would work..
I consider myself to be a democratic socialist simply because of my opinions on the limitations of human nature.

My answer depends on the political topic in question.  I honestly couldn't say what they "mainly" are.

Real left wing for the most part - and not some Obama is a socialist tripe, real left wing stuff, democratic government, workers rights, trade unionism, living simply so other can simply live, small is beautiful, government out of personal decisions and sex lives, real taxes on income, universal health care, universal education - all that silly stuff.

Libertarian.
You, a libertarian. Badnarik was real libertarian not Barr or Root. Actually Michael Badnarik has been the most honest American politican in this decade.

Trouble is, those words mean different things at different times, in different places.  That's why a one word answer is pretty useless.  Take a survey of views on 15 or so different issues, and you will have a clearer understanding.

Laugh? A real libertarian is anti-draft, anti-security obsession, against the drug war etc.

A quick research.

you should also have 'moderate' or 'neutral'

I'm way more left than right, though, as with everything, I am both all and niether.

Those three things you mentioned are what is (most likely) most important to you.

Now...
A. The US has no draft, the Selective Service is a pre-emptive way of having a ready to go draft in case of a WW3 situation.
B. Security, is fine the way it is now.
C. Drugs. Legalize and tax.

Now, why dont you focus more on your own self-created problems, and less on my personal political philosophy.

Genuine libertarians do not support selective service registration as Barr does. Badnarik was strongly against selective service registry and so was the plantfrom accepped in 2004 in Portland however 2008 platform in Atlanta has in some other issues too evidence that party is now more right-conservative than genuine libertarian.

And I am personally anti-drug. I do not agree with libertarian views of drug policy.

Chris Rock... I love da' Brotha'. He once said, "you white people gotta realize that blacks and whites have at least one thing in common. Black people hate ni##ers too!!"

My thought in response, "white people hate cr@c#ers too."

Badnarik cites Ayn Rand as one of his inspirations.  To me, that 'nuff said.  Everyone has certain touchstones, Ayn Rand is one of mine.
