Sacha Baron Cohen used his latest creation to hit out at the singer, once a pal, during an interview.

He told Attitude magazine: "Ich divide Madonna into ze following eras: Puppy Fat (Like Ein Virgin); Skanky Marilyn (True Blue); Tzitzen Out (Vogue, Erotica); Total Scheisse (the 90s); und her current, Transsexual Child Catcher."

This Bruno guy really does nothing for me. At least Madonna creates music that makes me feel like dancing.

Good old Sacha Baron Cohen, he just manages to offend everyone. But then that is the point of his creations. Ali G, Borat and now Bruno.

He just takes the micky out of anyone he can and shows up people for what they are. Borat was the best when he got a load of red necks shouting anti Jewish chants.

You would have thought people would have gotten smart about him after Ali G. But they dont seem to. In the UK his targets have worked it out which I guess it is why he does most of his work in the US or Europe.

Mainly I guess because they dont get it (trying hard not to offend anyone here)

His raison d'être is to offend, and he has his moments of doing it very well.  Singing the national anthem like he did, comic gold, but he's lucky he made it out of that rodeo alive.

Cohen really offends me, especially his new "Bruno" character.  I really don't see what people find funny about this guy making character personalities and going around insulting people.  I try to ignore him.

I can appreciate good satire or even sophomoric humor that offends but I do not find this guy funny at all.  Oh he pulled the "->-bleeped-<-" statement out again, must get him plenty of press.

I agree, and Madonna does not look like a transexual. She has strong (although still thin) arms, but the rest of her if very feminine.

I think it's time to stop those little jokes about transexuals and crossdressers. It's as offensive as racial jokes, and makes social acceptance more difficult.

And I also dislike the "child catcher" part, as if it's implying that transexuals around kids are not safe. It encourages the stereotype of transexuals = sickos. It really pisses me off.

Not cool at all.
