Inspiration?

Aside from looking down, through tear filled eyes, in ICU, at the tiny form
clinging desperately to life, which was my grandson, the most inspirational thing
that I have witness was watching the STRUT in Chris Gardner's stride as he
strolled across the screen at the end of the movie, that told the story
of his struggle from the bottom, "The Pursuit of Happyness".

What things that you have seen, experienced, read about, heard or... have inspired you?

The daily struggle that homeless youths face.  They do what they have to, just to get by: day by day.  And why?  Because they were thrown out of they home, or left an abusive home, and no one seems to care about them anymore.

Well, being all military type (and a history buff), I would have to say all those who have fought for our freedom in the past. All the wars that were fought by brave men and women who thought nothing else but to defend their country. They are always an inspiration to me. They gave it their all, never quit, helped each other out, and most of them knew they wouldn't make it. Everytime I think about it, it makes me want to run out there and show them that it was worth it. Sorry if this seemed depressing, but it does inspire me (in a good way)!  :icon_yes:

Oh, and I just LOVE the movie Pursuit of Happiness! It makes me cry everytime though!  ::)

my inspiration comes from what i'm best at, gaming, i take lines from games and use them irl, for example - Zidane Tribal from Final Fantasy 9 says "you don't need a reason to help people", i was inspired by that and i can't remember the last time i didn't help someone
