Marquess of Queensbury

Ones for sport, and one's for blood.  As Butch Cassidy said, there are no rules for a knife fight.

There's a vivid autobiographical description of an encounter between a US marine and an insurgent during house clearing - that was no holds barred, sink your teeth in, claw your eyes out, do whatever it takes not to be the dead guy, fighting.   I think it was "House to House" by David Bellavia or a similar tome by one of his mates.

There's no glory there.  Just adrenaline, terror and pain.  Harrowing reading.

Hi Hazard,
I would definitley hold my handbag tighter and move away from you. So yes you look like a tough dude. That's fine but tough dudes usually end up meeting other tough dudes, and that may be a poor mix unless you are on T and built up muscle mass.

In no way Bro do I mean that comment disrespectfully. Just life.

Yup and I've never once - ever - witnessed a fair fight.  The Marquess of Queensbury is always away snorting a line in the restroom when the brawling starts.
Unless it's some sort of regulated sport and whatnot with rules, that's the way it should be in the real world. 'Honour' or fairness in a real fight is kind of ridiculous to ask for, especially when you consider the motives for attacking or defending.

That said, I've seen some pretty tough women fight.

Of course in the States you run the risk that the other person - male or female - is just going to pull out some heat and put a few caps in your ass.
FIGHT APATHY!, or don't...

Exactly. I wouldn't expect someone to fight fairly, I'd expect them to pull a knife or a gun on me or fight dirty in general.

I don't think there is 'dirty' or 'clean' in a street fight, there is only win and lose.

There's also, "not play the game," which is the only real way to win, and sometimes takes the most skill of all.
All changes, even the most longed for, have their melancholy; for what we leave behind us is a part of ourselves; we must die to one life before we can enter another.

Of course, that requires a different attitude, and different clothing choices too.

Well yes, you do obviously have hips. Will it keep you from passing? It depends. If your voice is low enough, and your face is at least slightly more masculine than feminine, which I think yours is, you're good. When I first got on T, I still had quite a bit of fat on my hips, making them seem wider than they actually are. However, the second my voice dropped into male range, I never again had a problem passing. If your voice is high, well, you may be taken for a very butch lesbian. T will make all the difference.

Yeah, definitely. Chest looks good. You look just like some guy I know, except for the hips. Stick to layers (shirt+jacket, shirt+loose button up shirt) it helps. I think you're very masculine.
