what is the purpose of having both a transgender and transsexual forum

i know it doesn't hurt anything, but i'm just wondering what the difference is between a transsexual topic and a transgender topic.

The Transsexual forum is for topics pertaining to transsexuals or transsexual issues. The Transgender forum is an umbrella for topics pertaining to gender varient people or issues.
Nero was the Forum Admin here at Susan's Place for several years up to the time of his death.
