Evangelist Sy Rogers, who says he is a former prostitute, transsexual and gay man, says "kisses and cuddles" and the "good old pash" are foreplay that people should not engage in before marriage.

Rogers, who says homosexuality can be "cured" with prayer, will speak at a conference at Enfield Baptist Church next month.

How can you be a "former transsexual?" I've never even heard of such a thing. I guess it is just as stupid as people who claim to be "ex-gay." It would really be weird to be a post-post-op "former transsexual." Of course such things are only possible when under the influence of a cult and cult tactics.

Hi . This Sy Rogers   . was never a trans person . in his writing   . he was told ..he .. was . that does not mean he was .   he was & is gay ...  .
I read all the info i was given . & Its there in black & white . as  i deal with people in the  so called churchs that he may have contact with . & others . & some tryed to tell me he changed from being a trans ..  to not ..    we are born trans not some thing we just take on for fun .
All so the people in some churchs  will not hear the truth  funny that i wonder why .  . thats the problem . they think they know YET  they have never asked us why we are like this .. or tryed to find out .  so is it any wonder they get it so  wrong ....
& I have had three people say we will pray for you to be changed back to what you were ....  funny that . what was i . if i was /  am an  andro .. how can i be changed back .i was born this way .
  What they see is only the outward apperance of the person . not.  the inside . hence thier problem .  oh some have only seen me as a woman . so that raises a ?? or two    Some are just accepting with out any    yet they know me for who i am . & i get on well with them . dont  for get some people are brain washed . so no matter who ..what.. or what ever. we are . they wont accept us for who we are ..pity . because ...they ... miss out on some neat people .
any way just my thoughts .

Why wouuld you not think he's tran?

     I have sent a email to Sy & his people to ask a few ??   then will see what is said . the info i was given seem.s to be at variance with what you said .
   That.  being the case . there seems to be some thing not quite right .  so hopefully i can have this cleared up . Another point is (( having prayer will cure some one who is a homosexual ))
   So then if that is the case . what happens if they are born this way ...they may stop . yet are still who they are .   like some one who is a alcoholic.  is that the same .   you know the saying once a alcoholic   all ways   one even if he stops drinking ...
    then that same prayer  does  that apply  to me allso   im. a andro   from birth . iv . had this thrown at me .  so i know what i am talking about .
     A lot of so called christians  con not will not ever accept those who are different . i.v had 50 years of this i know .. yet there are some who accept us as people . no problems .    it depends on how people are taught  in many cases .   what does the Lord have to say .. interesting   will in no way cast out any who accept him .or come to him . . regardless  who  they or we are . the church on the other hand says you must conform to what they say . so who.s right ... ill let you.s answer that ??   Jesus  or man ...go back 2000 years you.ll have your answer .... matthew 5.  the be attitudes   or the attitude we are being shown ......some neat points there .

What info was that? I don't mean what he said, I mean reading between his lines. It's something you have to learn about ex-trans/ex-gay people. They have lots of code words and what they avoid saying is as important as what they say. Please let me know if he responds to you.

I've got a personal letter from him around here somewhere.  My family contacted him and he wrote me. I promised to read his book (I think it was his book).... and then I decided it was time to check out. I started to plan my undoing at work the next morning. Thank mother luck for my secretary.  I was so fortunate that she was around that awful rainy day. She saved my life.

I think it is worthwhile to make sure you are on the right path.  I think that your faith can help some.  But the God that represents most in this country won't help you.  Find your own.  And give yourself some credit as well. It doesn't hurt to do some research.  And then there's the real life test.  If you can get through that and still do the wrong thing..... well, I just don't know what to say.

    Thank you for that info .
     There is of cause a detail that does not come up much . its stating sexual orientation . do they say that all trans people or who . i am not sexual  in terms of in a relaitionship . in other words a none sexual . that side of me stoped 11 years ago .  not religiously or my belifes or not ... that did not come in to it
     .i know there are many reasons. just dont apply to me in this case .
how ever this seems to relate to gay.s  would this be right ...  thats the impresion i am getting .
The other detail is i did not have talks with any one because i knew 100 %  what i was doing. so told our endo & pych. & Dr .   what i was going to do . they acted on.   who i was /am . where i was going & they got behind me & backed this kid up to the full . like many others they helped me in so many ways . so you knowing that . & i was born this way as a andro .   why do we have some know it all.s who total know nothing yet make out they do . then tell others what to do . i would use one word... bull->-bleeped-<- ... to them in no uncertin way .  because they .....ARE ... not us .    so how would they .know ..  I dont know how you deal with these people because they do not & will not hear any thing we say or tell them .they have a preconceved idear  or theory.
   mind you age had a part to play in  it for me with those who helped me .
   Any way you may have some idears on this .

Noleena,  I'm not sure what you meant about this being related to gays.  I believe that it is something distinctly different. My GID, my desire to be female, was the first thing I remember as a child.  Sexuality came much later in my life.  We get thrown in with the other minority groups because people on the outside believe that we are gay to the extreme.  I don't mind being with gay and lesbian people.  But I definitely feel differently than they do. I know that we are wired differently. In any case, I stand proudly with them here in CA to defend their right to marry.  I wish that we could all just get along in this country.  There are so many important things we can accomplish. Why must we fret about how people present themselves, love, and live?
