Transgender Issues 101: What is a transition? Part two

A transition from male to female or female to male is a process that takes place over a period of time — in some cases, several years.

When a non-trans person asks a transsexual person if he or she is "done" with transition, the implied question is whether or not that person has had genital surgery or SRS (sex reassignment surgery). However, those thinking about asking this question might consider whether or not they would ask a non-trans person about his or her genitalia in a similar situation.

My point was, I could hand it to them and they would throw it away unread. Wouldn't be the first time.

I never said if only my parents would find it. Might help to not take such an attack stance next time before asking.
