There is a view that to have a successful transition you need to be stealth; I have to admit i used to worry about this can i ever be stealth? , should i worry about being "read"? so i used to go around doing every thing I could to be "stealth" this put a lot of strain on me. One day i woke up and thought sod it I'll just be myself and lo and behold people in general accepted me as female i even got a few wolf whistles.

But on the other side some people read me as I am still in transition and not the finished article I have a lot to do like hair removal and sorting out hair on my head. My finances are finite so i only do one thing at a time or I'll have to declare myself bankrupt at some stage.

so my advice is don't live to be stealth be just stealth enough to live :)

PS: you can't be 100% stealth or 100% out

Hey Emma,

Nicely put.

Stealth is a very personal (and emotive issue) but you can be both yourself (and do stealth) or have a successful transition and be open. As you have rightly pointed out it depends on circumstances and there are no rights, wrongs, or must do's.
