Family Policy Council leader says: God took away the sun in Maine because of Same-Sex Marriage

According to an Op-Ed piece in the Maine Time Record, Michael S. Heath, the executive director of the Christian Civic League of Maine, now The Maine Family Policy Council, thinks the plagues of Moses have fallen on the State of Maine

Heath says, the states potato crop is blighted, corn and fruit fields are withering and in one historic building in the state capitol of Augusta, rain flooded the basement, as water from another source poured down through the ceiling and extinguished a century-old chandelier.
All because, according to Heath, the elected officials in Maine passed a Marriage Equality law this past spring, "and in its place paid honor to evil and unnatural practices. Our leaders allowed a cloud of error to hide the light of reason, and then the rain began."

I don't know about the Family Policy Council, but every time I see one of God's creations enjoy the same rights as His other creations I see the sun shining brightly.

This makes me think of this humorous could-be-anecdote posted here: https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/topic,885.0.html

When you judge others, you do not define them, you define yourself.
