I just wanted to pop in and say a big thank you to Shelley, Steph, Susan, and others whose names I can't remember at the moment, for all your support.  You are all so sweet.  This evening she's was moved to tears by your supportive remarks in regards to her recent outing in one of our former artist's publications.  She is always going on about her new found sisters and brothers. I, too, was moved particulary by Shelley's sweet remarks and felt it was time to introduce myself and offer my 2 cents worth and perspective.

Welcome to Susan's.  As Kimberly said it's a great place, full of wonderful suportive people.  We all try to support each other as best we can, and help each of us though those rough patches we encounter along the way.  Some days we're flying as high as a kite, but then there are instances like Cassies, that bring us down to the ground with a thump.  We try to make that thump as soft as possible.  It doesn't always work, but the main thing is that we are there when needed.

It's great that you dropped by, hopefully you will be a regular, so stay a while, relax, you're amoung friends.

Lovely to meet you. I think you'll find that what you have said is worth much more than two cents. For me it is very comforting to know that my support has helped Cassie in some little way.

You must be very proud of her lovely writing style that provides us with some very beautiful moments of reflection. I think if you can find the time to drop by every now and then you will find that the family here is a very accepting one that makes everyone feel welcome.

I think the sharing of experiences provides a very solid basis of support and perhaps down the track you will feel that you would like to share your experience because you are a very significant person in the life of one of us and your expeience and opinions can help to piece together the puzzle.

On a personal note I find significant other a little distant so if its OK I'll think of you as Cassie's life partner. Having said that I agree with Kimberly you may find the Significant Other area of interest. I think also that a little trip of discovery through all of the forums provides a broader understanding of the trials and tribulations of our lives.

So welcome to this lovely place that Susan has chosen to share with us and hope to see you again soon.

P.S. Pass a big hug onto Cassie for me and tell I said thanks for just being her.

She'll have more to say soon. She was really hurt too when we first got the email but ya'll  really cheerd her up with your comments. She wanted me to thank you for her and I said hey why don't you join in and thank them yourself. So she has joined and I hope she will have much she would like to contribute.

As a perspective I want to say....

My SO is very supporting in our life....I mean she lives with fact that everyone knows she lives with a cd/tv. so she lives with the judgements as much or maybe more than I do. She knows how important susans is to me and understands why I spend time here. She is aware of my perspective of what is going on here susans...and how it effects me...I have asked her post and be here...but she see's it as my thing. I wish she would visit here too...and maybe someday she will.

So Jeanbean....power to you! It is 'our thing' but we are smart and cool and we really need to hear your view too!

And Cassie....you lucky wench!!!!!!!!!

When you look at it we probably need someone to touch our feet down occassionally. Perhaps there is a position open here.

Cassie you life partner seems so very nice and no less than you deserve I think. It would be nice to hear her views too as we don't live in a cacoon and views from the other side of the mirror are rare so they are very much welcomed.

And to Deb your right anyone crazy enough to go through the things that a partner has to is a very special person.

This conversation has taken me a step closer to opening up more to my partner. If there is one thing I have in her is that she is one hell of a special person.

I gotta say I love hanging around the people here. You are all such lovely people. There goes my screen again it gets all misty and hard to see.
