So, as of right now I am both homeless and transgender, and there doesn't ever seem to be resources fitting both things. It's terribly hard for me right now, and I was wondering if someone would just talk with me, if not about the situation, about just TGism itself - I can't get to all that many resources, and I would like to learn more.

I'm not the best resource for homelessness, but I hope you can find the support and guidance you need here at Susan's.  I am always willing to listen, as are many others.  Where are you right now in your transition?  What led you to be homeless?  Also, if you're willing to give a general geographic location, someone might be able to point you in the direction of help or more resources.  Stay strong!

Well, I am living at a place in Port Huron, MI, called the Harbor House. It is a homeless shelter for teens like myself.

I am in the first stages of transition right now - I am only trying to pass and binding. At 17, there isn't much that I can do.

Well, I wish I could help out in some way. I hope things get better for you and that you find someone that can help you. If it's not too personal a question, why are you homeless? Did you runaway, get kicked out, or something like that?

You're actually not THAT far away from me...though I'm not exactly in the best position as well. I'm south of you a few hours at least, about a half hour west of Detroit.

Really sad to hear about this--and honestly wish I could be of help...at the least, if you need someone to chat with hit me up.

Well, it's alright. Things happen... for what reason, we never seem to know... But they DO happen for a purpose.
