The only time I had any real issue with chaffing, was when I did some 'landscaping' and trimmed the area (not shaved, bleugh) so anywho, with the extra protection that provided gone, the little guy felt a bit too open to the elements >_<

Oh yeah going Amish beard to crew-cut in that area is a very naked feeling ....

OK I don't like the boxer briefs, going to return the unopened one and get some tighty-colories.

Even bio males have trouble with different types of underwear. You just have to find what works for you.
If you grew up in panties, briefs may be easier to transition to.

I grew up in briefs and tried boxers, and they just never worked. Also, avoid the cheap ones, they usually have the worst seem in the cloth right there. May as well go commando in a pair of jeans. Jockey makes some microfiber "european style" seemless boxer brief/boyshort type things, they may be something worth trying. They are softer fabric, with no seems to rub and chaff. They are similar to seamless boyshort panties they market to women, but extra room in front and half the cost. They are thin fabric so it is close to wearing little, yet soft like silk.

Some of these. You can get them at Walmart for far less than on the their website.

I'm just gonna stick with briefs, grew up with panties or commando lol. I just don't like the extra cloth around the leg with the boxer briefs.

I'm the same way. Boxers are too much like shorts. If I wanted to wear shorts I'd wear shorts. Commando isn't great for me either due to chaffing. Too bad boxers & boxer briefs are the in thing now for us brief guys. I'll go to buy underwear and there's tons of boxers & boxer briefs but not alot of variety for briefs. :-\

I don't think there ever has been much variety for briefs. "What color would you like" seemed about all.

"Manscaping" seems to be an accepted term for it.

I'll speak up for the humble boxer :)  I like them.  The main reasons being that briefs tended to chafe and irritate the "seam" of flesh between the uppermost inner thigh and scruttocks - I also feel a little less sweaty and better ventilated with looser undergarments.  Naturally, this is just my personal experience - each to their own!

I think it depends on what you like to wear, slacks and baggy pants would work great with boxers, I wear fairly tight stuff being a biker and briefs work well with that. I know what you mean by that seam, but most of the time it's not a problem.

Yup, horses for courses I guess.  I don't wear baggy stuff and my Crowtree's are far from baggy (sadly little reason to wear those any more).

That's all I care about is the colour- the styles seem all the same. There's just less colour options with briefs, with boxers and boxer shorts have all these different designs. /art nerd

Same here bro!

Wal-Mart fruit of the loom boys XL, "stripes and sedges" colors, 5 for $6, or was it 5 for $4, I forget.

I'm just at that overlap point where I can wear a lot of boys' stuff and it saves me some money, mens' smalls may fit too but would cost a bit more.

Tomorrow's 1/2 price on clothes day at the local Salvation Army, woot!

Y'know, Josh, didn't you say you recently started using T cream on your junk?  Depending on the formulation (especially if it's a gel instead of a cream) that could be contributing to the issue.  Just a thought that occurred to me in the shower this morning.  (And, no, I don't ordinarily think about your junk while I'm in the shower.  :D ;) )

haha yea, i did start using it.  its a compounded cream.  if anything, it helps keep things more moist.  its like the super manly T infused version of lotion. :P

LOL after I do my shot, there's a bit of T that resides in the base of the needle, yes I squeeze down all the way but it's in there and I can, after pulling the needle out of me, draw back on the needle then remove the needle, and get a half-drop of the good stuff on my finger, I've taken to putting that on little Willie, who knows if that makes any difference, I just hate to waste stuff.

Ah, how I love a terrible pun, badly executed .

I have two pairs of Atari boxer briefs myself. Black with a silver logo, and grey with a line drawing of the Atari joystick.

I am a consumer whore! :D (And how!)

Hey, brands matter. Today I got the surplus store's other pair of Carolina (made when they made stuff in the US) jump boots and at the salvation army, found a set of Ugg-like boots for winter, Airwalk brand and much better than the cheapo Ugg copies around. Pro Rodeo Wranglers are better than Rustlers, your good skate shoes like Etnies are better than Wal-Generic, and so on.

I don't like Hanes stuff, I think it's junk. Fruit of the Loom for me all the way.
