Please read the following comments about Caster Semanaya:
"AIS patients are men with birth defects. They are not mixed genders, as everyone is trying to portray them.
If Caster does suffer from AIS, he can still run as a man – that is, if he's a good enough athlete. But to run as a woman and accept medals for women's races, is clearly wrong."Here's another:
"The rules should be changed so that if you have a Y chromosome you cannot compete in female events. It's the most obvious and sensible scheme. The reaction of the South Africans officials is completely ridiculous. She is clearly not a she and the tests will show that. Nothing against her but she cannot race against women."If you have ever wondered why I can get so vitrioloic about gender politics, you only have to look at the trolling vermin on the comments sections in the press to see why. The next thing you get is the limp wristed response from those speaking against said trolls with things like "well they may be genetically male but these transgendered people need compassion, she is really a transgender woman with a woman's gender identity." Yes with friends like that who needs enemies.
