A FILIPINO transvestite who went on a stealing and cheating spree while on a social visit pass here was jailed for a year and eight months on Friday.

Dexter Rayala Flores, 28, who has brown-tinged shoulder-length hair, admitted to five charges of stealing and 15 counts of using his victims' credit and debit cards from April to June.

By the time he was nabbed, he had chalked up purchases of about $7,500 worth of jewellery, $850 for a cell phone, and $1,400 of clothes and cosmetics.
