I have been lurking over the past couple of days, popped into the chat room briefly the other day, and decided to finally just register and get it over with.
I'm here because I am currently the SO of a ftm. He came out as trans shortly, a mere few months, before we met. When we met, I thought (wrongly) that he was a she and SOO my type. (30 yo women who look like young men) Instead, he is, of course, a 30ish yo man born into a woman's body. As a queer identified woman, I didn't think I would have much issue with dating him, but have since fallen madly for him and realize that this is gonna be a whole lot more than I thought, so....woo hoo support page!
I don't know what his, our, or my journey through the transition will look like, but I can't wait to find out. And I am just glad to know that those experiences can be shared and that I can also seek out advice/comfort/words of wisdom from others who have or have had some similar paths.
