Those are both great!  The second one made me laugh so hard...

Did anyone else notice that little wedgie-pull at the end of the first one?  xD

That was pretty awesome.

Ikea is a company that gets that not everyone is a white family with 2.3 kids. I've seen them have print ads with kids with same sex parents. In a time when there is a lot of intolerance out there is good to see ads that are tolerant and accepting. Maybe some day being gay or trans will be seen as a regular part of society someday soon.

I was never really a fan of Ikea until I saw those ads.  While it doesn't change the fact that you have to assemble their furniture from toothpicks, I do appreciate them as a company which is progressive enough to make ads like those.

I have yet to even go into their store here in Portland and I watched as they built it.  ???

The problem with Ikea is not getting into the store, its getting out, its designed in such a way that you have to walk through the whole thing to find the exit.
FIGHT APATHY!, or don't...

Yeah, I feel like Theseus in the Labyrinth in there. At least I've never encountered a Minotaur.

I go to the store in East Palo Alto CA.  I love to BE there because it is so international. Eating in the funky cafeteria, you can listen to people speaking Korean, Chinese,Vietnamese,Russian,Swedish and once in a while, English. No store is like this anywhere and I never feel odd or not welcome.  Really cool.

Oh, don't get me wrong. I love going to Ikea and I also visit the one in EPA. It's just that it is a big, sprawling, meandering place. It does seem labyrinthine, and I get so distracted that I often forget why I went there in the first place.
