I was told by people who went to him that he is doing forehead procedures (recounturing, eye brow life. hairline advancement), chin procedures and jaw.. probably nose too..!

I was told his results were really good by those who went to him (I still want to see) and the forehead is shaved really smoothly and finely.

I know someone went there to have eyebrow lift, hairline advancement, forehead shaving and chin all for 24,000 NIS which is about 6,300 USD! :O I am starting to find as many details as I can soon as well as see examples of his work :) that's pretty exciting!

Yes I will!

Apparently there are two of them in Israel!
One is our GRS surgeon, Dr Kaplan.
The other one, the one which I was recommended to look into, is called Ran Talisman.
Apparently he is quite famous and known in plastic surgery in israel, he is also a member of the israeli plastic surgeons association, the american plastic surgeons association and apparently some other one, american plastic and anesthetics association.

his records seems to be quite up high and he seems to be also a researcher in some of those fields.
I am more interested to see relevant results of FFS done by him though! :) I am going to look into it :O

So I emailed them yesterday!
Today I received a phone call from their hospital saying he IS performing such procedures.

They said they can't get any price estimate before a consult meeting and asked if I'd like to come.
I said yes and they said they will call me again soon :)

Coolieo. The price sounds pretty good, esp if he's a good doctor. I wouldn't mind FFS, but sometimes the cost can be prohivitive esp now that I'm on a small, fixed disability income at the moment. o_0 hopefully I'll get things organized and go. Although, really, I don't know what I'd like to be done. LOL

Omg are you serious?.. Whoa, i was in desperation looking at the prices of FFS surgeons in the U.S.
and adding an Israel -> U.S. flight ticket to that cost.. (i live in Israel).

I'm so interested in a consultation with Ran now!
I'd love to see some work examples though as FFS requires lots of experience and artistism but
nevertheless i'm soooo happy we have one(two?) such surgeons in israel now :D

Hi.. Do you have any contact info for Dr Ran Talisman in Israel?

Thank You.

Where are you from?
If you can read hebrew, this is his clinic's site:
http://www.dr-t.co.il/site/siteHomePage.asp

Phone: 03-6090660
Fax: 03-6090959

Email: info@dr-t.co.il

If you call from another country, it's 972-the number without the initial 0
so phone would be 972-3-6090660

Hi!

I have news!

Apaprently he does the suporn technique for forehead re-construction although I will get a confirmation later this week.

I met him, he seems to be nice and professional.

Pricing!:
I got a total offer of about 36,000 (or 38) NIS.
This includes: Nose, Chin and Forehead (which includes eyebrows and scalp - still need confirmation on scalp)

If doing chin and forehead seperately it is about 17,000 chin and 18,000 forehead.
Nose is about 10900 but has 10% dis->-bleeped-<- if done with the rest (or even just one more I think), bringing it to 9800 or so.

Sorry that the details are a bit messy, I don't have the paper right infront me (left it for the parents).

All the prices are in NIS, searhcing in google "USD to NIS" wil lreturn:
1 U.S. dollar = 3.76769876 Israeli shekels

Searching 38000 NIS to USD reeturns 38 000 Israeli shekels = 10 085.732 U.S. dollars

He has great reputation and qualification for a plastic surgeon, the only thing I might ask about several times is the forehead.

Regarding the forehead, I was told he does excellent and natural looking work, I still need to get a confirmation if it is the traditional type 3 forehead procedure or anything else.
The problem is that I forgot to ask that question in the meeting and I later asked the secratery who said she will ask him.
Today she called me back and said that "it's the same in S.. something clinic" she forgot S what, I asked here if it might be suporn - she said she thinks it is but she will ask and write it this time and call me again.

I also asked for details on the procedure - just to be sure and confirm it.

Asking a person in the community here who been through this surgery at him says (haven't had the chance to met her) that both the chin and forehead looks natural and feminine, the forehead on profile looks great and she is very happy.

Personally - I would like to meet her or get pictures, I hope I Will have more chance to get details and investigate everything I can

AweSAM!

Damn, I might just have to go on birthright, and extend it into an FFS trip.  ;)

hilah.hayley

That sounds really cool!! I have lots of family in Israel and would love to make a trip there anyhow. Sadly I missed out on Birthright! I was in the US Navy and then got married. My wife had gone with Birthright and I wasn't going to go alone! :P
