Hello everyone! Hmmm...I have a odd obsession with the name changing that will go on, great thing about it is you don't even need to be TG/TS to get a name change, anyone excluding criminals can change their name! :]

I am an MtF so my name changing is going to be more feminine! My current and if you would like to be picky...Real name is "Micale".

To sound it out would be to drop the d sound in MUD, take that sound and add it to Kelly but take out the e sound in Kelly and you got my name: MUD without the D and Kelly without the E sound; Would make the correct sounding of my name...Micale.

Micale came from my Mother taking her husband (Who I never met or know) whose name was Michael and taking her name Michelle and twisting and fusing it she got Micale.

Despite my name not having a clear male or female tone...I want a more unique name! My name is already unique but I want something more special and that works for me! :]

Over time with my wacky and creativity mind I have came up in my mind different names...Some of them I like because of the ring and specialty and others just because it's different -- I want your guys opinion on them and I want your SUGGESTION on which one you think would go best.

I know that since it's my name and I am going to live with it forever it should be what I want but like I said, suggestions from others would help!
LOL! 'Cause unlike Beyoncé with a stage name like Sasha Fierce, I don't want a name that sounds super drag! (No offense to drag people! xoxo)

Here are the names:

Ivorica
*Sounds almost like (I-Four-Eeek-Uh)

Kishi
*Sounds almost like (Key-Sha)

Tetra
*Sounds almost like (Tech-Tr-Uh)

Exodeona
*Sounds almost like (X-Zoe-D-Own)

You should previously known this one!!!

Inphyy
*Sounds almost like (In-Pay) OR (In-Fee) - Two way name

Pearla
*Sounds almost like (Purrr-la)

Fuchsia
*Sounds like (Fu-Sh-Uh)

There we go, I did have others at the time but my mind is brain farting on me!!! I'm still under the age of 18; So I won't be able to change my name 'till a few years! But getting advice on names now -- Helps!...And who knows by the time I am 18, other names might strike my interest instead. ~_^

Don't get to exotic with names.  The reason is if it sounds to 'drag queeny' you are stuck with it for life.

Look
ing a baby name book and go with something there.  Or look around and see what the other girls are named, both here and at school.  Someting that is more main stream with help you to blend in better.

That's the thing, I don't like blending in, even my style right now is like Lady GaGa; It's different, eccentric...I want a name that resembles me! A plain, boring, everyday name won't touch home with me. As long as I pass but have a very unique name--I don't mind.

What's wrong with Micale?  I think if you pick a name that no one will know how to pronounce when they read it, you are asking for a lifetime of problems.  Micale is easy and unique and you!

You might run names by your friends.  When I decided to be Katherine, my friends all decided I was Kate.  And I'm much happier as Kate - it seems to fit better.

I think "Tetra" is the only name on that list that is a good balance between being uncommon and not being too weird, since I have heard of a few people with it as their name, while the rest sound made up.

:( :'(

But I like Exodeona! =[ =[ =[

If you pick a really unusual name like that, people are always going to be asking you things like "Where did your name come from?" and "Is that your real name?" (or worse, assume from the start that it's not and go, "Tell me your real name"). Would you be prepared to deal with being constantly pestered about your name by every new person you meet?

But I already get pestered by every person I met about my name anyways...HEHEHE! =]

So it would just sit exactly at home anyways! :]

Fair enough. Though with your current legal name, you can explain what your parents had in mind -- are you going to say that your parents were the ones who named you "Exodeona" if somebody asks about it?

I still think "Tetra" and maybe "Fuchsia" (real words, after all :P) are closest to the right balance if you want an unusual name.

I know someone named Pearla and Kishi before! ._.

I am an old retired woman, probably old enough to be your grandmother, Tetra, so what I think may not matter to you and may be completely out-of-touch with current trends.

BUT

If you ever plan to have any kind of grown-up career, a name that is too weird will be a detriment.  An unusual name is fine, especially if you are unusual (that is, you can carry it off), but an obviously made-up name will slow you down.

(I will now sit back in my rocking chair and let you young'uns do as you damn well please.)

Silver

I may sound stupid for suggesting it, but I'm going to go ahead and do it anyway.

Namine.

Looks beautiful! But how do you pronounce it?

Dianna

I like Tetra myself, but of course it's up to you.

My own experience, Dianna was not the original spelling and pronunciation I had myself.

It was DeeArne.   I got so tired of questions in the early stages, constant attention to my name, I dropped it and settled on Dianna.   Most people call me Di.

It's easy to say one doesn't care, but it only draws more attention IMHO.

Sorry hun, 'in my humble opinion'.. :)

Go with Tetra if you have too

But those names sound like they belong on some fantasy sci fi hybrid female race.

Nah-me-nay. Yes, from Kingdom Hearts.

Mr. Fox

I think all of those names are cool!  If I were a girl, I would choose one of them.  Other people are right about that they will stick out, but some of us our too vivacious to melt away into society anyway.
  •

Calistine

Well uniqueness is cool, I defintely would not pick a name like Mary or Jane :p
But yeah if its TOO exotic you will sound like a drag queen. Pick something unique but down to earth.
