Probably Waldo the Sane from
So Long and Thanks for All the Fish, by Douglas Adams. I feel just like him every time I have to deal with corporate America.

For the longest time I wanted to be like Duncun McLoed from the Highlander TV series.
And then, of course, there's Scooby Doo, for nostalgic reasons.
Oooh! And Sam the Eagle form The Muppet Show. "All across America people are running around, and under their clothes they're all
naked!"

I've been watching The Muppet Show for the first time since I was a little kid, and it's amazing how much adult humor was sneaked in around the kid's stuff.
