Ever since I started T I've been having awful hot flashes multiple times a day, everyday.  Anyone else have this problem? When did they finally stop for you?

Yep. I'm guessing it's just your body's way of regulating itself. For me, they lasted about 2-3 weeks. Afterward, I found that I was just hot all the time. Something about testosterone makes your body less susceptible to cold.

Yes.  Four weeks for me, and now I'm back to putting on a coat and scarf every time it drops below 50°F (because all this fat is strictly ornamental).

My body didn't get that memo.  My father was cold all the time, too; my money is on genetics.

Hmm, you may be right. I guess since I experienced that, and heard from a couple other ftm guys that had experienced the same thing, that it was typical. Weird. I know I, for one, am quite happy about that particular effect... I used to get cold when it was 70 degrees out. Thank god I'm not that way anymore, because Colorado weather is FAR from forgiving.

I've been on T for over 17 months and I still get them every now and again!

Yep, I had hot flashes for maybe a month.  They do stop, pray that it's quickly.

*blinkblink*  Wow.  Besides being pre-T, did you get acclimated to a warm climate before you moved to Colorado?  My southern relatives consider anything below 70*F 'chilly.'  If it hits 65*F, I'm sweating bullets.  'Cold' doesn't really happen for me until it's below zero with a -30*F or lower windchill.  The 30*F we're having now is 'nice fall weather.'  I'm used to the cold, but I will say that I do feel just a bit warmer--all of the time--compared to when I was pre-T.

I grew up in Indiana. It's not exactly a tropical climate, but the cold weather sticks to December-February, then it's temperate until May or so, when the hot stuff sets in. I always relished the summers, except those few days in the 90s. When the fam moved to Colorado when I was 13, I hated the weather immediately... where we lived, it snowed 9 months out of the year. It's an interesting shock to the system... and it's no wonder I wanted to move to California as soon as I was old enough to get out of my folks' house. Denver's not bad, though... now that I can handle the cold.

i had them.  i dont remember how long they lasted.  i was also off of my T for a couple of months and i got them again when i started back up.
