This brought back a long lost memory! Almost thirty years ago. Believe it or not I've been in that situation before. I didn't have a gun though. There was four of them. They chased my wife and I for about a half hour. I stopped in a restaurant parking lot, got out, took my jack handle from under my seat and went straight for the driver who had rolled his window down and waved a knife at me. One swing and I knocked the knife out of his hand, back across the inside of the car. Lucky for me the other three must of thought I was crazy as a loon and stayed in the car. Took me two hours to calm down after that. Wouldn't you know it, unfamiliar town, no police anywhere in sight and didn't know where the police station was.

You're right of course, definitely the face would be more in order. I have real issues with rednecks. My favorite ones are the shotgun toting ones around here, in Idaho, with southern accents. Accents don't bother me, fake ones coming from Idaho rednecks do. A bona fide accent, especially an English or French (in a pinch) one is just mmmm.

I'm impressed though, I was raised in both Houston and Baton Rouge, and I could only decipher the first line lol!

I'm kinda having my doubts about the authenticity of the video.  I'm thinking it was staged.

- Two rednecks in a truck and they are videotaping the whole thing, even when they get out and supposedly are gonna bash the guy's head in.  They had better kill him and his girl or or the guy's gonna get the plate # and tell the cops they have a video

- When the girl takes the camera you can tell the blonde guy is still holding it because it's moving.  The blonde guy could have easily grabbed her.  And when she went into the truck to grab the keys, he could have pushed her in and held her hostage.  And that girl seemed way too confident when she approached the blonde guy.

- The guy who supposedly put this on the Internet didn't bother to blur out his face or his GF's face.  He's on video holding a gun and threatening to shoot them if they try to do that again.  Not a smart move.  But he did manage to blur out his license plate.

It's hard for me to swallow all this and believe it's real.  But then, I'm a cynic.

Still a cool video though.
