Is there a doctor in the House? There will be if Dr. Dana Beyer has her way. This forthright, outspoken, and progressive politician is running for State Delegate in District 18 of the Maryland House of Delegates. Endorsed by the Victory Fund and with a long history of political involvement, this out trans woman is already deeply involved in local politics in Chevy Chase, Maryland, as well as on the national scene. Her primary election will be September 14, 2010, but it's not too early to get to know her and find out about her life and her positions on the issues, which she shares with us here.
